Moonbeam Capital reported it had invested in PK4 Software Technologies Private Limited; a Bangalore-based SaaS (software as a service) firm. Moonbeam Capital is a Gurgaon-based investment and advisory firm. The funds raised will be used for expansion in other markets and verticals. PK4 offers on-demand integrated CRM solution to small, medium, and large enterprises.  Its flagship cloud-based CRM product is known as 'Impel CRM', which was launched in July 2008.

Prior Impel CRM, PK4 started with an applications development framework 'Zerocode'. It has 68 clients and 2000 users. Some of the companies in its clients list include Bausch & Lomb, Lifecell, CARE Hospitals, Modi Tyres, Hindware, among others.

Moonbeam Capital focuses on investing and advising firms in the service industry catering to HNI and luxury segments. It has backed eight companies in the last two years and its investment portfolio includes Mandala Valley, LuxuryHues, Estee Advisors Private Limited, Altamount Capital, Luxury Marketing Council, Vista Religare, Scion and quintessentially group.

Moonbeam, which invests in early-stage companies, recently acquired a private equity firm NewGrowth Capital Advisors Private Limited and gained access to micro and small growth stage companies, the domain of NewGrowth Capital. Moonbeam Capital Managers has taken up the minority stake in PK4 for an undisclosed amount. The Gurgaon-based investment and advisory recently acquired another city-based early stage fund New Growth Capital in a move aimed at growing and reinforcing its offering.
